“Life on a Farm is a School of Patience.”

Hi there! We are the Morton Family. You’ll be hearing mostly from my husband Clint, and myself, Meagan. Clint and I were both born in Berryville, AR. He has spent all his life here, except for a short time in Mena, AR. I moved quite a bit during my childhood from Arkansas, to Oklahoma, to Iowa, and Missouri. But, our roots are here in Berryville. 

Clint grew up farming with his parents and still works with his dad to this day. They run  6 Tyson chicken houses, (now 3), and a nice herd of black angus cattle.  

My parents run commercial cattle on a huge ranch just a bit further south from us. So, needless to say, cattle is in our blood. But, we are finding our groove in the pig market. 

Join us full charge as we dive into our beginner breeding program of Pigs and our variety of yard chickens. We are hatching our chicks and will be expanding our specialty breeds this year. We also garden on our property.

I have been actively gardening around 10 years. Some small breaks in between my 4 pregnancies! Even before, I’ve always had house plants and small veggie and fruit operations. I love cooking and learning new homesteading techniques. 

We will be actively selling at local farmers markets. Our kids will have their own products too!

We enjoy hunting and fishing. We have actively lived outside, all our lives and love this lifestyle. 

We homeschool and try to improve the simplicity of our lives. 

We love Jesus, our Church, our friends and family. Our inspiration comes from our relationship with Jesus and everything he has created and provided for us. 

I am excited to introduce more people to this wonderful lifestyle. Along the way, I hope you'll find the tools that you need to dig in to your homesteading life!
